This role primarily involves working in inpatient rehabilitation, with opportunities for cross-coverage in acute care settings. As a vital member of an interdisciplinary team, you will contribute to delivering high-quality patient care.

The commitment entails working at least one weekend day each month, with the flexibility to take on additional hours as needed.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive evaluations to identify and assess patient needs.
  • Reassessing and modifying treatment plans based on patient progress and discharge goals.
  • Efficiently managing resources to implement effective treatment strategies.
  • Documenting patient care in accordance with departmental guidelines and ensuring accurate billing and statistical records.
  • Supervising and mentoring therapy students or staff, evaluating their performance.
  • Planning and coordinating clinical programs tailored to patient requirements and current best practices.
  • Maintaining open communication with physicians, supervisors, and other team members regarding patient care and therapy programs.

Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program is required. No prior experience is necessary.
