The role involves managing global transfer requests, coordinating emergency air evacuations, and facilitating communication with international clients. The RN serves as a key resource for the BH International marketplace, showcasing clinical expertise across all support areas within the Patient Logistics Center (PLC), while actively promoting ongoing process enhancements.
This position is responsible for executing requests from international clients for Emergency Department visits and overseeing the management of international patients' visits and outcomes. Additionally, the RN supports the BH Maritime Clinic by addressing urgent requests from international clients.
Real-time assistance is provided to the BH International Hospitality team, ensuring effective communication with physicians, international insurance providers, cruise lines, and all global clients. The RN also prepares Medical Parole letters as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster a culture of high performance and open communication.
- Maintain positive relationships with all members of the Broward Health team.
Qualifications:
Education:
Associate's degree in nursing required; BSN preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of three to five years of relevant nursing and charge experience required; two years in Emergency Department, Critical Care, or Trauma preferred.
Credentials:
Must possess a State of Florida Registered Nurse license, HCP-CPR certification, and basic computer proficiency.
Refer to the 'Healthcare Provider (BLS) & Advance Life Support Courses' policy for additional training requirements.
