About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer I to join our engineering team at Spring Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our core Ruby on Rails system, ensuring the efficient and secure handling of sensitive data, and driving forward engineering initiatives that improve the reliability and maintainability of our platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Refine and iterate on our core services and data models using your expertise in Ruby on Rails.
  • Design data models that support multiple use cases for our platform core services, capable of adapting to future scale.
  • Craft and execute comprehensive tests to ensure the integrity of our systems.
  • Implement comprehensive observability and monitoring to ensure the success and reliability of our core systems.
  • Collaborate with other engineers to build a uniform approach to software development and establish core standards for within Rails.
  • Mentor other engineers in the organization, sharing knowledge and guiding best practices.
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of professional development experience.
  • Experience with Ruby on Rails and rSpec.
  • Experience with Graphql API design.
  • Experience with revenue operations or revenue systems.
  • Bonus points for experience with Docker and AWS.
  • Comfortable working on an agile team and curious about learning new things.
  • Enjoy coaching and growing engineers by reinforcing Ruby and OOP best practices and coding standards for others.
