Fleet Maintenance Specialist

Key Responsibilities: As a Fleet Maintenance Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include performing repairs and preventative maintenance services on our fleet of 125 garbage trucks, utilizing vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs, conducting safety checks on vehicles and equipment, completing required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times, reviewing, completing or assigning repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports, performing maintenance-related work as required, and maintaining a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to possess 2+ years of experience in heavy truck equipment maintenance and repair or completion of a diesel tech program, Class B CDL or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of employment, clean driving record, provide personal tools, proficiency in vehicle and equipment diagnosis and repair, and ability to read and comprehend service and technical information.
