Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our team at BKF Engineers. As a key member of our site development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing infrastructure projects from concept to completion.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop site development plans, including grading and drainage plans, utility systems, and report preparation.
  • Collaborate with project engineers and managers to prepare project designs and specifications.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to the team, including drafting, design, and construction.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure project success.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and excellence in design.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited program.
  • 0-3 years of experience in site development, design, and construction.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design software.
  • EIT/FE certification preferred.
