Key Responsibilities:
As a Clinical Pharmacy Manager, you will oversee the operations of the pharmacy department, utilizing your expertise and professional judgment to achieve departmental goals.

Core Duties:

  • Adhere to the established standards of practice for dispensing medications.
  • Conduct thorough quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy in prescription dispensing and report any discrepancies promptly.
  • Comply with all relevant state and federal pharmacy regulations.
  • Manage the submission and collection processes for third-party claims.
  • Optimize pharmacy inventory management to balance stock levels with customer demand.
  • Ensure that all prescription records and manual documentation meet regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain a clean and professional pharmacy environment.
  • Foster professional relationships with healthcare providers and stay informed about advancements in pharmacy and healthcare.

  • Facilitate effective communication between pharmacy personnel and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in on-call duties as required.
  • Collaborate with management on hiring, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions within the pharmacy team.
  • Support clinical functions such as medication therapy management and compliance reviews.
  • Assist in achieving budgetary targets and operating within financial guidelines.
  • Engage with auditors and regulatory agencies as necessary.
  • Complete all mandatory training and compliance programs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Education: A minimum of a Bachelor of Science or Doctor of Pharmacy degree.

Licensure: Must possess and maintain a valid state pharmacy license and current registration.

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment and random drug screenings.
