Job Title: NOC Shift Registered Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Willow Creek Healthcare Center. As a NOC Shift Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility during your tour of duty, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
  • Inform nursing service personnel of new admissions, their expected time of arrival, room assignment, and other relevant information.
  • Ensure that rooms are ready for new admissions and greet newly admitted residents upon arrival.
  • Make rounds with physicians as necessary and encourage timely recording and signing of progress notes, physicians' orders, and other relevant documents.
  • Consult with residents, their families, and physicians in planning care, treatment, and rehabilitation as needed.
  • Notify attending physicians and next-of-kin of changes in resident condition and visit residents daily to observe and evaluate their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Provide direct nursing care as necessary, including starting IVs, obtaining sputum, urine, and other specimens for lab tests, and taking vital signs.
  • Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as necessary and report problem areas to the Director.
  • Keep the Director informed of resident status and other related matters through written or oral reports.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
