- Facilitate and organize various levels of patient transportation, assessing the necessary level of care based on individual patient needs.
- Optimize transport schedules to enhance discharge efficiency.
- Gather and verify billing information and essential documentation.
- Address common inquiries and escalate issues or complaints to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist in the preparation of patient belongings and documentation for transport.
- Ensure compliance with billing protocols and obtain necessary payment information as required.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of ambulance and transport service protocols, including billing procedures.
Qualifications:
- Emergency Medical Dispatcher (EMD) certification required within the first year of employment.
- At least six months of relevant experience in a similar role.
