Job Overview

The Lead Software Engineer will be responsible for creating and enhancing software applications utilizing various programming languages while adhering to established coding standards and technical design specifications. This role focuses on our camp registration platform, iCampPro.

QualificationsEssential Skills and Competencies
  • Proficient in programming languages such as PHP and JavaScript.
  • A minimum of 5 years of software development experience.
  • Familiarity with relevant frameworks including Angular, Laravel, and React.
  • Openness and eagerness to learn new technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a knack for addressing minor issues.
  • Extensive knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills complemented by strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Understanding of software development methodologies and release processes.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline; equivalent job-related experience may be considered.
Experience and Education
  • Experience with Angular 2+, JavaScript, and Version Control/GIT.
  • Proficient in HTML5, CSS, and CSS Preprocessing.
  • Knowledgeable in Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM technologies.
  • Experience with test-driven development practices.
  • Ability to document requirements and specifications clearly.
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies and release processes.
  • Experience with PHP and Laravel frameworks.
