Job Summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineering Manager 2- Communications Element SEIT to join our team in Roy, UT. As a key member of our Command & Launch Communication Equipment hardware, software, and systems team, you will be responsible for leading technical planning, system integration, verification, and validation efforts for the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead teams to perform technical planning, system integration, verification, and validation for total systems
  • Ensure logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions
  • Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies
  • Collaborate with users, customers, and other engineers to develop and implement system solutions
  • Responsible for requirements, architecture, and verification leadership and ownership
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline and 6 years of related experience
  • At least 1 year experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule
  • 2+ Years experience developing, fielding, and/or operating Communications Systems
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • ICBM experience
  • Experience with tools and languages such as CORE, DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo, ModelCenter, MagicDraw, Easy Power, Prima Vera, UML, SysML
  • Requirements Management: MBSE, Functional Block Diagrams, Specification Trees
  • Systems and end item requirements validation and verification

Northrop Grumman offers a competitive salary range of $127,000 to $191,500, as well as a discretionary bonus and Long Term Incentives.
