Position: Mixologist - Event Services
Department: Food & Beverage
Reporting To: Food & Beverage Supervisor and/or Director of Events and Operations
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting guests and addressing inquiries regarding products and pricing.
- Efficiently process patron orders while maintaining accuracy and speed.
- Handle payment transactions (cash or card) and ensure proper management of cash flow.
- For select events, assist in delivering orders to premium seating areas or VIP sections.
- Prepare basic mixed drinks, pour wine, and serve beer as required, while adhering to alcohol regulations including verifying IDs and monitoring service levels.
- Maintain sanitation standards during food and beverage preparation.
- Assist in setting up concession stands, managing inventory, and reporting any shortages to management.
- Conduct post-shift clean-up to ensure the concession area is sanitized and organized.
- Perform light bookkeeping by tracking cash received against food and beverage sales.
- Regularly clean and maintain food preparation equipment.
- Other duties as assigned by the Food & Beverage Department.
Qualifications:
- Experience in food and beverage service.
- Proficient in using basic technology such as tablets and Point of Sale systems.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced service environment.
- Capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Minimum age of 16, with a preference for candidates holding a high school diploma or GED.
- Preferred qualifications include the ability to serve alcohol (18 or older, TIPS certified, and experience in drink mixing).
Job Type: Part-time
Compensation: $75.00 per day
Schedule: Night shifts with weekend availability
