Position: Mixologist - Event Services

Department: Food & Beverage

Reporting To: Food & Beverage Supervisor and/or Director of Events and Operations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting guests and addressing inquiries regarding products and pricing.
  • Efficiently process patron orders while maintaining accuracy and speed.
  • Handle payment transactions (cash or card) and ensure proper management of cash flow.
  • For select events, assist in delivering orders to premium seating areas or VIP sections.
  • Prepare basic mixed drinks, pour wine, and serve beer as required, while adhering to alcohol regulations including verifying IDs and monitoring service levels.
  • Maintain sanitation standards during food and beverage preparation.
  • Assist in setting up concession stands, managing inventory, and reporting any shortages to management.
  • Conduct post-shift clean-up to ensure the concession area is sanitized and organized.
  • Perform light bookkeeping by tracking cash received against food and beverage sales.
  • Regularly clean and maintain food preparation equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Food & Beverage Department.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in food and beverage service.
  • Proficient in using basic technology such as tablets and Point of Sale systems.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced service environment.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Minimum age of 16, with a preference for candidates holding a high school diploma or GED.
  • Preferred qualifications include the ability to serve alcohol (18 or older, TIPS certified, and experience in drink mixing).

Job Type: Part-time

Compensation: $75.00 per day

Schedule: Night shifts with weekend availability

Supplemental Pay: Tips

Experience: Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred), Cash handling: 1 year (Preferred), Bartending: 1 year (Preferred), Food handling: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification: TIPS (Preferred), Bartender License (Preferred)
