Job Summary

Bell Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team in the Cardiopulmonary department. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including asthma, COPD, pneumonia, and respiratory failure.
  • Ventilation Management: Manage mechanical ventilation, including setting up and adjusting ventilators, and monitoring patient response.
  • Oxygenation Therapy: Administer oxygen therapy, including nasal cannulas, masks, and oxygen concentrators.
  • Diagnostic Testing: Perform pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
  • Education and Training: Educate patients and families on respiratory care and disease management.
Requirements
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications are required.
  • Education: RRT certification is required.
  • Experience: 1 year of experience in a critical care setting is preferred.
