Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Library Checkout Desk and provide training and supervision for student employees
- Manage the opening and closing procedures of the Library
- Handle interlibrary loan requests efficiently
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma is mandatory
- A bachelor's degree is preferred, or equivalent professional experience
- 2-3 years of relevant experience is desired
Essential Skills:
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Capability to collaborate effectively within a team
- Previous supervisory experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Flexibility to accommodate varying work hours
Work Environment:
- Some physical lifting and movement of materials may be necessary
- The role may involve high-pressure situations during busy periods
- Ability to maintain composure and multitask effectively is essential
Job Type:
Part-time, 20-22 hours per week
Compensation:
$16.50 per hour
