Job Description">

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson is seeking a Water/Wastewater engineer to join our team in Newark, DE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hydraulic designs, sewer rehabilitation, water and sewer design, and water/wastewater treatment process design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and lead engineering tasks and projects in the water/wastewater field through working knowledge of applicable design criteria, regulatory requirements, standards and processes;
  • Manage multiple design projects, manage preparation and updating of project schedules;
  • Develop, analyze and document critical design elements;
  • Coordinate the efforts of a design team to determine requirements and incorporate feedback;
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering from an ABET accredited university;
  • 5-10 years of experience in water/wastewater engineering;
  • Working knowledge of Federal, State and local jurisdiction permitting regulations;
  • Possess a Professional Engineering License in the state of Delaware or have the ability to acquire a license through reciprocity within six months of employment;
  • Experience working with local clients;
Compensation:

$95,000 - $115,000 per year (based on experience), including benefits.
