Qualifications:

  • Must be based in the U.S. and possess professional/native level English proficiency.
  • Experience: A portfolio showcasing academic or professional graphic design work that highlights creativity and meticulous attention to detail is required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in graphic design software, particularly platforms like Photoshop and/or Canva, is essential.
  • Creative Skills: Ability to comprehend and implement various design methods, color schemes, and typography. A creative mindset to develop innovative design concepts aligned with branding guidelines and social media content is crucial. The ideal candidate will effectively communicate our mission and values through visually impactful designs.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills are necessary for collaboration with other marketing team members.
  • Time Management: Effective time management skills to meet deadlines, with a commitment to respond to communications within 24 hours.
  • Problem-Solving: Initiative and professionalism in addressing challenges are essential.

Our Needs: We have a clear vision and a platform, but we require a more robust social media presence to showcase our resources. Business intersects with every industry, and we aim to create compelling content that resonates with diverse audiences. We welcome both new and experienced Graphic Designers eager to learn through exploration and research. Our goal is to promote information sharing and create social media posts that connect with global events while imparting valuable business insights.

Responsibilities:

  • Attendance at weekly departmental meetings led by the CMO to discuss ongoing and upcoming projects.
  • Designing artistic visuals, including social media graphics, logos, original illustrations, and other materials that reflect Pitch Labs' core values.
  • Creating graphic designs for our designated social media platforms and marketing collateral.
  • Staying updated with the latest design trends, software, and technologies.
  • Overseeing all design aspects of assigned projects.
  • Collaborating with team members, including the social media strategist and marketing copywriter, to ensure graphics align with Pitch Labs' content strategy.

Time Commitment: This is an unpaid, remote volunteer position. We offer flexibility in scheduling and ask for a commitment of at least 3-5 hours per week, ideally for a minimum of six months. This role is particularly suitable for students seeking to gain experience in the field while engaging in meaningful work.
