Medical Receptionist

UF Health Central - Eustis is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and healthcare team.

• Registration and Scheduling: Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and collect point-of-service payments in a timely and accurate manner.
• Front Office Operations: Greet patients, answer phone calls, and direct messages to the appropriate team members. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Patient Communication: Provide clear and concise information to patients regarding their care, treatment options, and billing information.
• Administrative Support: Assist with clerical duties, such as copying, scanning, and faxing documents, as needed.

• Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Experience: A minimum of 6 months of work experience in a healthcare setting or one year of customer service background.
• Skills: Basic understanding of insurance, medical terminology, and billing codes preferred. Exceptional communication and customer service skills required.
