Job Summary:
Centstone is seeking a skilled LPN/LVN to join our team as a Med Surg or Telemetry Nurse. This is a full-time travel contract position that requires a strong background in medical-surgical nursing and telemetry experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in the med/surg and telemetry units, working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized patient care plans, ensuring that each patient receives comprehensive and compassionate care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in medical-surgical nursing and telemetry.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to Centstone's standards of excellence and quality care.
Requirements:
- 2 years of LPN/LVN experience, with recent/current med surg experience required.
- Experience with tele strips reading is highly preferred, as is Epic experience and prior travel nursing experience.
- LPN License for State of IA or Compact is required, along with BLS and ACLS Certifications from AHA.
