Nurse Specialist in Maternity Services

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Family Birthing Center. As a key member of our maternity services team, you will provide high-quality patient-centered care to expectant mothers and their newborns.
### Key Responsibilities
* Perform comprehensive assessments and re-assessments of maternal and newborn conditions and care needs
* Develop and revise individualized plans of care based on assessment and patient response to treatment
* Educate patients and families regarding pain management and other aspects of care
* Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and promote positive patient outcomes
### Requirements
* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
* Current licensure in the state of Connecticut
* Certification in ACLS, NRP, and Basic Cardiac Life Support
* Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification
* Labor and delivery experience preferred
### Competencies
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Basic computer skills
