Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at HCA HealthONE Presbyterian St. Luke's. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and make a meaningful contribution to patient care.

About the Role

As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for operating x-ray equipment to produce high-quality radiographs of designated body parts. You will also perform x-ray therapy on patients under the supervision of a Radiologist and explain procedures to patients, addressing their concerns and providing quality diagnostic results.

Our Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging Department offers a broad range of services, including screening, diagnosis, and treatment of medical conditions and emergent injuries. We prioritize patient care and strive to provide an exceptional experience for every individual who walks through our doors.

Key Responsibilities

* Operate x-ray equipment to produce high-quality radiographs
* Perform x-ray therapy on patients under the supervision of a Radiologist
* Explain procedures to patients and address their concerns
* Maintain expert technical and patient-care skills, providing quality diagnostic results

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Completion of an AMA-approved Radiology Technology training program with current certification by ARRT
* BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
* Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs

Compensation and Location

This position offers an estimated hourly wage between $26.39 and $40.70, with an additional $6.25 differential for all hours worked.
