Inpatient Physician Opportunity at Inspire Healthcare

  • Collaborate with two Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) who assist with admissions (approximately 10 per night), manage ICU responsibilities, respond to codes, and more.
  • Procedural support provided by on-site General Surgery residents.
  • Intubation services managed by Emergency Medicine or Anesthesia teams.
  • The ICU is open but primarily overseen by a distinguished Pulmonary/Critical Care service.
  • Critical Care services are available in-person during the day and via telemedicine at night.
  • Tele-Critical Care services are coordinated by a respected Pulmonary/Critical Care program and facilitated by APPs.
  • Tele-Hospitalist services offer cross-coverage as required.
  • Enjoy a 7 on/7 off schedule with 12-hour shifts.

Position Overview:

  • The physician will be responsible for managing hospitalized patients from the point of admission through to discharge, performing comprehensive history and physical evaluations, developing strategies to enhance and/or manage patient health, and working to minimize their length of stay through safe medical practices and effective treatment plans.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine is required.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
