Job Title: Tutoring Teacher

Andrea Parent Account is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tutoring Teacher to join our team. As a Tutoring Teacher, you will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction and support to students in a private setting.

Job Summary

The Tutoring Teacher will work with students in small class settings, using the "Ace it" Tutoring program to deliver instruction and support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with students of varying skill levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and score assessments for each student
  • Ensure class materials are available and accessible for instruction
  • Teach students in small class settings using the "Ace it" Tutoring program
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the "Ace it" Tutoring program and its instructional methods
  • Interact with students as they work with instructional materials
  • Manage attendance and student progress in the Teacher Lesson Manual and "Ace it" Technology System
  • Praise and encourage students with sincere enthusiasm
  • Reward students with tokens for completed assignments and enter tokens in the Token Tracker
  • Communicate student needs to the "Ace it" Tutoring program manager
  • Keep management informed of student progress
  • Maintain site order and ensure students leave the site promptly at the end of instruction
  • Attend monthly staff meetings and initial and ongoing training
  • Attend public relations activities at the site
Additional Responsibilities for Lead Teachers
  • Respond to parent inquiry calls and execute enrollment confirmation calls
  • Act as a model of proper instruction methods using the "Ace it" Tutoring program
  • Provide guidance to other teachers
  • Assist with quality review and provide feedback to teachers
  • Assist with site management during program delivery
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree, excellent customer service skills, and computer literacy. A teaching certificate is highly desired, and previous teaching or tutoring experience is required. Lead teachers will also require a bachelor's degree, excellent customer service skills, and computer literacy, as well as a teaching certificate and previous teaching experience.
