Role Description

KFA seeks a seasoned Project Manager with over 10 years of expertise in planning, design, and management of municipal water and wastewater facilities. This role can be fulfilled from any of our Texas offices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams in the creation of technical reports, plans, and specifications for various water and wastewater projects.
  • Conduct facility assessments and prepare design reports, calculations, and construction documents, providing support during the construction phase.
  • Manage project tasks, budgets, schedules, and client interactions effectively.
  • Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Possession of a Texas PE license or the ability to obtain one within 12 months.
  • Over 10 years of experience in municipal water and wastewater facility design, focusing on process evaluation and construction.
  • At least 3 years of project management experience with a proven track record in budget and schedule management.
  • Experience in mentoring junior staff for professional growth.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex engineering concepts to diverse audiences.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with BioWin, Sumo, and/or GPS-X process modeling tools.
  • Experience in proposal preparation and interview participation.
