Job Summary

As a Respiratory Therapist at CAMC Health System, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of policies and procedures in the Respiratory Care department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and document therapeutic and diagnostic procedures in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
  • Assess patients for appropriate care and make recommendations for treatment.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures in the Respiratory Care department.
  • Participate in daily rounds and maintain a team approach to patient care.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
  • Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT) certification.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
  • Ability to lift and move patients and equipment as needed.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
