Solutions Architect - Protection, Control, and Automation

This is a remote position with potential travel requirements of up to 50%.

As a Protection, Control & Automation (PCA) Solutions Architect, you will play a pivotal role in the introduction, design, specification, and sales of PCA products and solutions within your designated region and account portfolio. PCA offerings encompass a range of activities, including protection relays, substation automation, Remote Terminal Units (RTUs), microgrid control systems, power management systems, and Auto Throw Over (ATO) solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Introduce and facilitate the specification of Protection, Control, and Automation (PCA) products.
  • Design PCA solutions tailored for both microgrid and non-microgrid applications.
  • Guide quotation teams on the proper quoting of PCA Solutions, Projects, and Engineering Services.
  • Provide assistance with technical clarifications and commercial negotiations on submitted proposals.
  • Conduct engaging presentations.
  • Perform comprehensive site surveys.
  • Lead local and key account sales teams in PCA-related business development initiatives for your assigned territory and accounts.
  • Support Schneider Channel Sales teams in diversifying sales of PCA products and solutions within your territory.
Qualifications:
  • Proven technical experience in PCA.
  • Strong client-facing skills, ideally with some pre-sales or sales experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for an Engineering degree.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
