Housekeeper Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Avery Point by Erickson Senior Living. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our residents' living spaces.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the community, including resident rooms, common areas, and facilities.
  • Ensure proper handling and disposal of waste, including trash and recyclables.
  • Utilize work orders to ensure proper room and furniture setups.
  • Assist with the movement and delivery of heavy objects and packages.
  • Perform tasks related to maintaining hard floor surfaces, including scrubbing, mopping, burnishing, stripping, and waxing, as well as carpeted surfaces, including extracting, interim cleaning, spotting, drying, and vacuuming.

Requirements:
  • Ability to safely operate carpet care equipment, hard floor care equipment, trash removal equipment, and any other equipment necessary for the cleanliness of the community.
  • Ability to be flexible and honor other requests from residents or departments that can be completed in the allotted time.
  • Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member.
  • Ability to safely operate Housekeeping vehicles.
  • Previous experience in carpet care and floor finishing techniques is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of verifiable licensed driving experience and a history of safe driving as noted through a 3-year motor vehicle record check.
