About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Della Infotech in Homer AK. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our rehabilitation team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evaluation and treatment for hospital inpatients, outpatients, and residents of the hospital Long Term Care unit, according to the professional standards of the American Physical Therapy Association.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants or Aides, Long Term Care Restorative Aides, and volunteers or students.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association.
  • Current Alaska Physical Therapy license (or obtain an Alaska PT license prior to hire date), and BLS certification are required.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in physical therapy, with a strong background in rehabilitation and patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
