Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Welder II to join our team at UltraPlay Systems Inc in Red Bud, IL. As a Welder II, you will be responsible for safely welding metal parts together using specified wire welding processes to produce high-quality assemblies.

• Weld a variety of steel types and thicknesses, including some aluminum
• Use semi-automatic and robotic welding equipment
• Comply with all safety requirements and maintain a strong safety culture
• Lay out, position, and secure parts and assemblies according to specifications
• Inspect grooves, angles, or gap allowances using precision measuring instruments
• Remove rough spots from work pieces using portable grinders or hand files
• Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
• Heat, form, and dress metal parts using hand tools, torches, or arc welding equipment

• Experience in welding, with the ability to pass a welding test
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints and operating instructions
• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
