Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer III to join our IT Infrastructure team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network systems, ensuring high availability and security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement network architecture and designs
  • Develop and implement network enhancements and make recommendations for improvements
  • Lead implementation of approved network architecture and designs
  • Provide high-level technical expertise to support the Coast network in all activities
  • Provide technical assistance, training, and mentoring to junior-level engineers/technicians/administrators
  • Plan, install, and provide daily operational support for managed customer networking environments
  • Document issues and resolutions in the IT ticketing system
  • Collaborate with the team to promote knowledge sharing and system integrity
Requirements
  • 8+ years of networking experience, preferably with Cisco switches/routers and FortiGate firewalls
  • Experience with network security technologies and best practices
  • Expert-level network troubleshooting skills utilizing packet capture/analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Obtained or willing to obtain relevant industry certifications
Working Conditions

This position requires frequent weekend and evening work, as well as occasional travel. The physical demands of this position include regular use of hands and fingers, handling objects, tools, or controls, and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds.
