About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Measurement Technician to join our Ingka External team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers receive a world-class experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately measure and interpret installation spaces to ensure accurate layouts and measurements.
  • Upload data in a timely manner using IKEA technology to ensure seamless communication with our team.
  • Review project paperwork with customers to ensure all components are correct and measurements are accurate.
  • Promote high-quality services and cost-effective solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Review appliance, electrical, and plumbing locations to ensure accurate documentation.
  • Interact with customers to ensure their needs are met and address any concerns or issues.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Vocational tech education or wood shop class experience welcome.
  • Space layout experience and previous measuring experience preferred.
  • Customer service and sales experience.
  • Experience with computer technology, including MS Office Suite and Salesforce.
  • Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation required.
Working Conditions
  • Ability to lift 50lbs or more frequently.
  • Travel required for this role, with an average of 4-5 days per week.
