Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Security Officer to join our team at Four Winds Casino. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all guests and employees on the property.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine patrols of the exterior property to ensure safety and security.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and assist with traffic control as needed.
  • Perform exterior door checks and walkthroughs of designated areas to ensure safety and security.
  • Provide weather updates to management during inclement weather.
  • Escort medical or police personnel to designated locations and provide access to buildings as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of incidents via Incident Reports.
  • Maintain sufficient inventory levels of stocked equipment in designated vehicles.
  • Accurately complete Vehicle Condition Reports before and after shifts.
  • Immediately report damaged or missing equipment to management.
  • Maintain a neat and clean workspace.
  • Escort and observe guests and employees as needed to ensure their safety and protection.
  • Identify potential hazards and report them to the appropriate individual for resolution.
  • Become familiar with hazardous materials used on the exterior property and applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Utilize all provided equipment in a safe manner and for intended use.
  • Interact with guests and employees in a positive and professional manner.
  • Assist guests and employees with flat tires, dead batteries, and gaining entry into their personal vehicles.
  • Contact dispatch for third-party assistance when necessary.
  • Maintain a series of keys accessing locked areas as necessary.
  • Verify video/audio monitoring devices are activated before starting daily patrols.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • Valid state-issued driver's license.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents.
  • Ability to write effective reports and memos.
  • Ability to respond to inquiries from employees or guests.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one, small group, and large group situations.
Work Environment

The work environment is typically smoky, and the noise level increases to loud on the casino floor. The employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions.
