Job Summary:The Ready Mix Truck Driver is responsible for transporting ready mix concrete to construction sites, company facilities, and customer locations. This is a skilled position that requires the safe and efficient operation of ready mix trucks, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform daily pre/post trip inspections and maintain accurate records in compliance with DOT guidelines.
- Load and unload equipment and materials safely and efficiently.
- Monitor vehicle gauges and maintain daily vehicle mileage logs.
- Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Obey applicable laws and follow dispatch instructions.
- Assure product quality and perform minor servicing and maintenance of equipment.
- Keep vehicles clean and in orderly condition.
- Regular and predictable attendance is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years experience driving mixer trucks preferred.
- Valid driver's license and CDL A or B license required.
- Must be 18 years or older and pass DOT physical, drug screen, and criminal background check.
- Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures.
- Ability to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors as needed.
