Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Support Specialist to join our team at Sherman MD Providers Inc.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to multitask with ease, and provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors alike.

Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a high school diploma or equivalent and one year of experience in a medical office setting. A Medical Assistant or Medical Office Specialist certification is preferred.

The Front Office Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Greeting patients and visitors, and assisting them with check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Scheduling appointments and handling phone calls in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assisting with billing, accounting, and collections, including ordering supplies and maintaining inventory.
  • Following through with patients or their physician offices on outstanding documentation needed to finalize their chart.
