Philosophy Instructor

We are seeking a part-time Philosophy Instructor to join our team at St. Louis Community College. As an Adjunct Professor, you will have the opportunity to teach and mentor students in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent instruction, grading, record-keeping, and compliance with legal and institutional obligations. You will also be expected to maintain accurate records of student attendance, report grades on Banner Web, and attend scheduled adjunct faculty meetings and training sessions.
To succeed in this position, you must have a Master's degree in Philosophy or a related field, plus 18 graduate hours in qualified subjects. A PhD in Philosophy is preferred. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and administrators.
