Diagnostic Imaging Team Member

At NewYork-Presbyterian, we are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of patient procedures and results

Requirements:

  • New York State Licensed X-Ray Technologist by the Department of Health
  • Registered X-Ray Technologist by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • ARRT/MRI certification
  • New York State license to inject contrast
  • 2 years of MRI experience or successful completion of hospital-sponsored training program

Preferred Criteria:

  • Prior experience with Radiology Information Systems, PACS, Data processing and digital data transfer process
  • Prior experience with Neuro patients
