This is a PRN Registered Nurse position in our 36-bed Orthopedic Medical Surgical unit. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate nurse to join our team in providing exceptional care to patients with orthopedic, spine, neurological, plastics, and trauma-related surgeries.
Responsibilities- Deliver patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Prescribe, delegate, coordinate, supervise, and evaluate patient teaching and the activities of ancillary nursing personnel
- Provide direct and indirect care to patients
- Graduate of a State Board accredited School of Nursing or equivalent
- 1 year of RN acute hospital experience preferred
- Current RN license or permit to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas
- American Heart Association BLS – within two (2) weeks of employment
This unit operates at an accelerated pace, caring for post-operative patients, trauma stepdown, and patients admitted through the ED. Our team works closely with Beaumont Bone and Joint, Physical Therapy department, and an in-housed Nurse Practitioner to provide exceptional post-surgical care.
