The position is supported by Advanced Practice Providers (APP) and utilizes Meditech as the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. Facility Information:
CommonSpirit Health operates a 25-bed critical access hospital, recognized as a Level 4 Trauma Center with 24/7 services. Our emergency department handles approximately 10,000 visits annually and features a 13-bed ED with two trauma bays. We are committed to providing a full spectrum of healthcare services, including emergency care, hospitalist programs, surgical services, orthopedics, rehabilitation, and more.
Responsibilities:
Clinical Duties:
- Diagnose and manage a variety of medical conditions.
- Formulate and execute detailed treatment plans.
- Conduct comprehensive medical assessments and histories.
Effective Communication:
- Engage with patients, families, and healthcare teams effectively.
- Deliver clear and concise medical information.
- Promote a collaborative, patient-centered healthcare environment.
Documentation and Compliance:
- Maintain precise and current patient records.
- Document clinical findings, diagnoses, and treatment strategies.
- Ensure adherence to coding and billing standards.
Diagnostic Responsibilities:
