Heavy Equipment Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team at Forward March Inc. This is a challenging role that requires a strong background in mechanics and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing regular preventative maintenance, proficient diagnostics, and major repairs on a wide range of construction equipment and delivery vehicle fleet to ensure the equipment operates safely and properly.
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform minor and major repairs on gas and diesel engines, complex hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and drivetrains
- Assist in training new mechanics as requested by supervisor
- Troubleshoot/diagnose malfunctions and repair
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Mechanical experience of 3-5 years troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing all types of construction equipment preferred
- Possess an appropriate tool set for the position
- Experience in Electrical, Hydraulic, and Diesel Engine preferred
