Patient Assessment and Monitoring
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including evaluation of vital signs, heart rhythms, and overall condition.
  • Monitor telemetry data to detect irregularities in heart rate and rhythm, notifying the healthcare team if necessary.
Medication Administration and Management
  • Administer prescribed medications, ensuring proper dosing and timing.
  • Monitor patients for side effects and adverse reactions, immediately reporting any issues to the physician or healthcare team.
Telemetry and Cardiac Monitoring
  • Monitor patients with telemetry units to assess heart rate, rhythm, and cardiac health.
  • Assist in interpreting telemetry readings, ensuring prompt intervention for abnormal findings.
Patient Education
  • Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication regimens, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Provide guidance on managing chronic conditions, such as hypertension, diabetes, and heart disease.
Collaboration with Healthcare Team
  • Work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare providers to implement and adjust patient care plans.
  • Participate in daily rounds to discuss patient progress, care needs, and treatment adjustments.
Estimated Salary

$120,000 per year (based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week)

This salary is estimated based on industry standards and location. Magnet Medical offers a competitive pay package that includes a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
