Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Mechanic to join our team at Satellite Services, Inc. As an Environmental Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing environmental-control systems in office buildings and other industrial areas.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintaining and repairing environmental-control systems, including heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning units.
  • Inspecting and testing systems to ensure they are functioning properly and efficiently.
  • Detecting and troubleshooting problems with systems and making necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Cleaning and maintaining equipment to prevent damage and extend its lifespan.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to complete projects and meet deadlines.

Requirements
  • Minimum of three years' experience as an HVAC mechanic and four or more years demonstrated proficiency in the Boilermaker discipline is required.
  • Experience in an industrial/commercial environment is preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints, building plans, and schematics as required.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and with limited supervision.
  • Universal HVAC Certification required; NCCER Certification a plus.
