Concrete Laborer

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Laborer to join our team at Heitkamp Construction Inc. As a Concrete Laborer, you will be responsible for setting up forms, installing reinforcements, and pouring/finishing concrete with construction machines or hand-mixing tools.

Your duties will include focusing on pouring concrete, but you may also be tasked with other concrete/labor related duties. You will work with other construction experts on various job sites to pour concrete and construct various types of concrete structures as needed.

To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent communication skills, adhere to EPA, OSHA, and local requirements regarding safety and handling hazardous materials. You should also be physically fit, punctual, reliable, and a hard worker in various weather conditions.

Job Duties:

• Set up forms
• Pour and finish concrete
• Install reinforcements
• Light Traveling to Job Sites
• Willingness to Operate Equipment in a Safe Manner or Under Direct Supervision
• Use Variety of Hand Tools to Complete Necessary Work
• Cleaning, Lubricating, and Performing Regular Safety Checks on Equipment
• Execute and Complete Detail-Oriented Tasks Under Pressure
• Minimum 40 Hours/Week

Required Qualifications:

• 18+ Years of Age - No Exceptions
• Driver's License or Transportation to/from Work
• Ability to Perform Strenuous Tasks with Your Hands
• Ability to Kneel, Bend, and Lift Heavy Materials
• Ability to Measure Accurately and Read Specifications

Preferred Qualifications:

• OSHA 10 Certification
• OSHA 30 Certification
• Forklift Operator Training
• Commercial Driver's License
