About the Role

S-E-A, Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Infrastructure Development Specialist to join our team.

The estimated salary for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description:

This role involves conducting field investigations and analyzing failures involving civil-site built environments and infrastructure for large-scale land developments, master-planned communities, mixed-use projects, roadways, and utility systems.

You will evaluate design/construction-related deficiencies associated with grading and drainage, stormwater conveyance, underground utility systems, erosion control, concrete flatwork, asphalt pavements, and hardscape systems.

Your expertise will be valuable in preparing, permitting, and constructing civil/site construction plans related to FDOT, water management districts, and various municipalities.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Conduct unbiased investigations for various types of clients.
  • Responsible for retention and development of client relations.
  • Prepare oral and written reports in layman's terms that document causes of failure, extent of loss, and recommended remediation.
  • Deliver professional presentations, develop client relationships, and promote yourself to client groups.
  • Ability to support conclusions by appropriate expert testimony in legal proceedings.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of civil/site development experience.
  • P. E. (Professional Engineer) registration required through testing.
  • Must possess strong writing skills.
  • Public speaking experience a plus.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
