Job DescriptionThe Affiliated Sante Group is seeking a part-time Peer Recovery Specialist to join our Central Maryland Crisis Response Team. The successful candidate will provide mobile crisis services, including ongoing peer assessments, crisis intervention techniques, and stabilization, as well as developing crisis plans for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Self-identify as a Peer and provide peer support to consumers and families.
  • Conduct on-scene assessments, including danger, suicide, and environmental evaluations.
  • Implement crisis intervention and stabilization strategies, including de-escalation and crisis planning.
  • Develop treatment plans using available resources and make referrals as needed.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and community providers.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent and two years of experience.
  • CPR certification or willingness to obtain within one year.
  • Two years in full recovery and three years of lived experience with mental illness or substance abuse.
