As a wholly owned for-profit sub-corporation of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), ASI plays a pivotal role in enhancing the value of NASW membership by providing substantial benefits and financial support to its nonprofit parent through dividends and sponsorships.

The CEO will provide strategic direction and leadership to ensure the organization's success in offering insurance and assurance services to social workers. Key responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of the organization, from financial management and operations to stakeholder relations and program development. The CEO will ensure alignment with ASI's mission to support and protect social workers.

Strategic planning and organizational positioning are crucial aspects of this role. The CEO will set and implement organizational strategy and direction, identifying market opportunities and differentiating from competitors. Partnering with high-level officers to ensure company growth and sustainability is essential. The CEO must maintain an understanding of current professional issues and their implications for the organization and stakeholders, providing leadership direction. Representing ASI at important functions, industry events, and public meetings is also a key part of the role.

Financial and operational oversight are fundamental responsibilities. The CEO will oversee the financial health of the organization, ensuring sound financial planning, budgeting, and reporting. Managing operational processes to ensure efficiency, compliance, and high-quality service delivery is essential. Fostering strong relationships with social workers, professional associations, donors, regulators, and community partners is vital. The CEO will ensure program quality and organizational stability through the development and implementation of standards, controls, systems, and procedures.

Effective board relations are critical. The CEO will keep the Board fully informed on the company's condition and all-important influencing factors. Helping the Board articulate its role and accountabilities and focusing on long-range strategic issues is a key responsibility. Working with Board officers and committee chairs to maximize Board member involvement and performance is also essential.

Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment are crucial, as is proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and effective use of technology.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic leader to make a significant impact in the social work field through ASI's innovative insurance and assurance services. If you are committed to excellence, integrity, and a collaborative spirit, we invite you to apply for this challenging and rewarding role.

How to Apply:
