Respiratory Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team at Virtua Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and management of patients with cardio-respiratory system deficiencies and abnormalities.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients and develop individualized respiratory plans of care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, while ensuring accurate documentation of patient care activities.
- Demonstrate expertise in invasive and non-invasive ventilator care, as well as competency in Blood Gas Laboratory procedures.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and wellness strategies.
- Set up, operate, and maintain medical gas and airway humidification systems, ensuring optimal patient care.
- Interact with various computer information management systems to document patient care activities and maintain accurate records.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved program in Respiratory Care with an Associate's Degree.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with 10 years of experience and BLS credential.
- Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the New Jersey State Board of Respiratory Care.
