We are seeking an exceptional candidate for a full-time Assistant Research Professor position at the Center for Social Data Analytics (C-SoDA) at Penn State University. The successful candidate will have a strong background in data-intensive social research and a proven track record of securing external funding for research projects.
Responsibilities:- Conduct individual research and collaborate on projects led by C-SoDA-affiliated faculty
- Take the lead on external grant proposals to secure funding for research projects
- Manage graduate student researchers and assist C-SoDA-affiliated researchers in utilizing high-performance computing resources on campus
- Contribute to the center's administrative tasks and grant proposal preparations
- PhD in Political Science or a related field
