Job Overview

Salary Range: $67,214 - $117,886

The role involves providing direct support to the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division by detailing the operational capabilities, quantities, and geographical distributions of contemporary threat systems currently in use globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and validate threats using various authorized Intelligence sources, documenting findings in the Intelligence Database or other formats.
  2. Offer analytical support and ensure accurate input of threat data parameters, including systems, weapons, and operational modes.
  3. Monitor modifications made to the Intelligence Database for inclusion in the Monthly Delivery Report.
  4. Conduct research and develop Capabilities Studies for Aircraft, Surface-to-Air Missiles (SAMs), Air Defense Artillery (ADAs), and naval vessels.
  5. Assist in Order of Battle initiatives across Land, Sea, and Air domains.
  6. Provide training and education on database usage as required.
  7. Support customer meetings and presentations as necessary.

Required Qualifications:

Due to the sensitive nature of the role, U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.

A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required, preferably within a military context. Candidates with an Associate's degree and 7+ years of relevant experience will also be considered.

A current DOD security clearance is essential, with Top Secret/SCI clearance preferred.

Adhere to all policies and procedures related to the secure operation and authorized use of DOD information systems.

Familiarity with Federal, DOD, and U.S. Navy guidelines is necessary.

Exceptional oral and written communication skills are required, with a strong attention to detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is expected.

Experience with the Electronic Warfare Integrated Reprogramming Database (EWIRDB), as well as EW/ELINT and other Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) data sources, is advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience within the Intelligence community is highly regarded.

Familiarity with database modeling, development, and queries is beneficial.

Experience in MS Access development and administration is a plus.
