Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT scans on patients as assigned, following radiological standards and protocols.
  • Verify patient and procedure information, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide clear and accurate instructions to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety during the scanning process.
  • Verify and perform correct imaging protocol, step, procedures, and scanner parameters for each patient.
  • Ensure patient and staff safety for CT equipment used, adhering to radiation safety protocols.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
  • Perform quality control on equipment and devices as required, ensuring optimal performance and accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively with other staff and departments to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless operations.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in Radiology or related field.
  • Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT).
  • CT Certification (ARRT) or (NMTCB).
  • Radiologic Technologist state license eligible.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Healthcare experience.
  • X-Ray experience.
  • CT Technologist experience.
