As a Clinical Educator, you will play a critical role in supervising graduate student clinicians and providing direct clinical supervision to ensure they receive the best possible training.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct clinical supervision to graduate student clinicians
  • Comply with ASHA standards of supervision for in-person and remote sessions
  • Adhere to ASHA and NYS ethical standards for clinical practice in speech-language pathology
  • Assist students in providing clinical services in a culturally competent manner
  • Meet individually with student clinicians to provide feedback and guidance
  • Edit student clinical documentation and ensure accuracy
  • Schedule and complete student conferences to evaluate clinical competencies
  • Approve clinic clock hours on Calipso and evaluate student performance
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) and New York State Licensure
  • At least 3 years of supervision experience preferred
