Position: Property Management Assistant within the Asset Management Division
Compensation: Wage range is $17.64 per hour - $21.69 per hour ($36,695 annually - $45,130 annually). Note: The starting wage for this position will be $17.64 per hour.
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Position Summary:
Under the general guidance of the Property Manager, this role provides clerical and administrative support for various AHA-owned and/or managed housing rental properties. Responsibilities include:
- Facilitating tenant relations and property management.
- Delivering exceptional customer service.
- Ensuring compliance and eligibility for housing programs.
- Managing maintenance requests and performing general office administrative tasks.
- Maintaining tenant files and related documentation.
- Executing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
Any combination of training and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required qualifications would be:
- Completion of the twelfth (12th) grade and at least one (1) year of experience in property management, facilities management, or affordable housing programs.
- Possession of, or the ability to obtain, a valid New Mexico driver's license upon appointment. Must maintain an insurable driving record with the Albuquerque Housing Authority.

Required:
- Ability to read and write in English to understand and interpret written procedures and federal documents. This includes effectively giving and receiving instructions in both written and verbal forms, as well as presenting information and responding to inquiries from various stakeholders.
Preferred:
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) candidates are encouraged to apply.
