About the Role

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Private Duty Nurse RN to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a Private Duty Nurse RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and manage patient care plans in accordance with physician orders and medical guidelines.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies in a safe and effective manner.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in our electronic system.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless transitions of care and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
  • TB skin test (current within the last 12 months).
  • At least six months of prior hands-on nursing experience (preferably in home health care).
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
